A very finely woven semi-antique Caucasian Sumak flatwoven rug from Northern Azerbaijan, handwoven with 100% organic vegetable-dyed wool. This is a flat-woven sumak, a double-stitched, hand-embroidered rug (triple-woven). Measurements do not include the fringe length. This piece would be great in any living space.
Caucasian Sumaks are double-stitched, hand-embroidered flat-woven rugs known for their unique vegetable dyes and bold geometric patterns. They are some of the most labor-intensive rugs and are made of wool. The sumaks in our curated collection are all antique or semi-antique pieces in incredible condition.
