A handmade rug purse, assembled in Turkey from a semi-antique Caucasian sumak kilim rug. Sumaks are double-stitched, hand-embroidered flat-woven rugs. They are some of the finest, sturdiest, and most labor-intensive weavings. The rug is handwoven from vegetable-dyed wool, and the backing is 100% cotton.

This purse is made from organic wool and vegetable dyes. It is hand-washable: Please use cold water, soft liquid soap, and a soft brush to clean it. Air dry thoroughly.
