A very finely woven antique Basra Marsh Arabian flatwoven rug from Iraq, handwoven with 100% organic vegetable-dyed wool. This is a rare, collectible dowry wedding blanket, woven at between the time of a couple's engagement and wedding. This is a flat-woven sumak, a double-stitched, hand-embroidered rug (triple-woven). Measurements do not include the fringe length. This piece would be great in any living space.
