A semi-antique, hand-embroidered fine needlework Suzani from Uzbekistan. Traditionally made by nomadic women as part of their dowry, these textiles are now used as tapestries, curtains, bed covers, couch covers, and table covers. This piece has a cotton foundation, and cotton thread is used for the embroidery. Most have floral patterns, thought to depict the gardens of Eden.

Most of our suzanis are semi-antique or antique pieces. Due to their delicacy and the materials used, we don’t recommend cleaning them. You can try dry cleaning or blotting very lightly with cold water if needed.
We are the source of all of our rugs and furniture. They are hand-selected, one-of-a-kind pieces. Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have. If you are unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason, please get in touch with us.
